Piccadilly Circus

Piccadilly Circus
is a famous road junction and public space of London's West End in the City of Westminster, built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with the major shopping street of Piccadilly. In this context a circus, from the Latin word meaning a circle, is a circular open space at a street junction. [1] It now links directly to the theatres on Shaftesbury Avenue as well as the Haymarket, Coventry Street (onwards to Leicester Square) and Glasshouse Street. The Circus is close to major shopping and entertainment areas in a central location at the heart of the West End

Comply or Die..!

Traffic fines are absolutly scary and unproportional in this country. For exemple look at this notice at the car park at the Oxford services: he you caught parking out of the permitted hours, first you'll get £80 fine ticket, then they clamp your car which you have to pay £250 to release your car!!! I think you get lighter sentence if you kill somebody! Its ridiclous!

Oxford Welcome Break

In any Motorway, every 20 or 30 miles there is a place like this that drivers can stop and have a break. These places called Services or Welcome Break. There you can find one or two branches of big super markets, fast food shops like KFC or MacDonalds, small casinos, toilets, petrol stations and usually a small hotel or inns. These facilities are usually very clean and refreshing for drivers. This photo is taken in a welcome near Oxford.
